The market's getting tighter these days, so be prepared to submit numerous offers before eventually closing on a deal.

If it appears they will be able to meet your minimum criteria to rent, invite them to view the property.

Open houses in my market are an invitation for nosey neighbors and fellow landlords, I don't do them.Get some nice photos, get up on Zillow, Hotpads, Cozy, Realtor, Trulia, etc. and see what comes of it.
