Was it just a simple Google search?

I joined biggerpockets.com thanks to lots of Google search questions and research I've been doing on real estate and multi-family unit ownership.

Once I have this list of addresses, how do I find the owners, when most of their addresses won't match the property I'm searching for?

But they only travel laterally 3 feet to search for food, typically.

You should identify what your goals are and what you plan to do and then ask for the “best” approach.  

Generally, Realtors rely on title insurance companies to search title history.

My goal is to begin searching for my next property in November and hopefully close on it by the end of the year.Goals for the future is to have enough income from my properties to be able to leave my job in the next few years.

The time you save in not searching turns to all the aforementioned and your opportunity to pick and choose how you involve yourself in each deal; thus partnering on the great stuff and wholesaling the good.Even 2% ownership in a com or multifam deal long term could be a great start to a passive income that allows you even more freedoms (choice).ALL of the value is in the deal.
