Since the house is mostly a place to hold funds that won't nose dive tomorrow like the stock market might, I'm looking more at keeping our expenses low in making repairs but am expecting to not make a profit the first 6 -12 months just based on the costs of bringing the house up to where it needs to be.

Hi everyone, just recently received my RE license and now ready to dive into investing.

Wholesaling looks an awful like fraud and deception to a layperson, so you're already digging yourself out of a fairly deep hole by the time you get caught.

Ground up development experience or just deep pockets?

I figure I should start small and educate myself first rather than diving in to the deep end without knowing how to swim.
