A new agent and a new first time investor

Hi everyone, just recently received my RE license and now ready to dive into investing. I'm pretty savvy on the MLS and know the pockets and neighborhoods and in spotting what I would call a 'gem' on what could yield a great return. Not massive, but a good start that I hope to start a trend. I have a ton of questions in this realm and would some local guidance. I'm not interested in the typical fix and flips in downtown Allentown or southside Bethlehem. I'm looking to fix and flip cosmetic homes bringing the old into the new, but the bones of the house are in excellent shape. And the old adage, location, location, location. Not looking to make it rich but to balance my gift of design and my passion of the process of all of this from start to finish. as I'm a Jane of all trades. I've been waiting and wanting to do this for some time and know you can never be educated enough, but for me sometimes watching one time or being a part of the process from start to finish with someone and then doing it myself is the best method adding my own touches. If anyone in the area is interested in chatting further in helping me get my foot in the door, that would be awesome. Am also interested in private lending sources as well. I also googled the local REIA and nothing really came up as far as meetups or seminars...am I missing something? Thanks to everyone in advance.
