Residential assisted living facilities seems to be a hot topic the last three years especially.

You can work for a property manager, be a licensed assistant to an agent, etc to learn different aspects of the business. 

Lots of investors are also hesitant to put that much money into a C class neighborhood with a lot of risk.In these neighborhoods we work almost exclusively with local assistance agencies.
