What do you guys try after those methods don't lead anywhere?  

I'd guess you need an extra solid relationship to make that method fly!

Here in California, I have found that direct marketing and mailing has not been as successful as other methods.

By doing a variety of marketing methods consistently and persistently I have found great success.

At this time we will not agree to trimming, pruning or cutting of any more landscaping.

Depending on how aggressive you are this might actually be a more effective method of collection.

i have never been a big fan of "agencies" they do the same old simple things and never really make a very big difference. however, i guess it would be a very good business to run if you really know some good methods other than the typical contest contest contest way of doing it.

do u mind me asking how long it took you to get going from starting out to regularly bringing in cash with this method?

I'm comfortable doing trim, repairing and hanging windows, and I definitely want to have my hands all over my kitchen.My wife is handy and relatively fearless and we work well together, so I've got that going for me.
