We were told that keeping a pre-approval active would help in our hunt (it didn't) and that checking around for a better rate occasionally wouldn't hurt (it did).  

And that picture is mixed in with half a dozen other pictures of my friends hunting dogs in one particular unit.Oh, another property of mine has several autographed 8x10's of me and local celebrities, former NFL & MLB players, national champion coaches from the college, semi famous musicians, radio personalities etc.

I have recently tried to broaden my hunting ground and am eager to get involved in the South Bronx and East NY Brooklyn areas.  

I appreciate the story of the hunt and the brief "chase" with getting the bank to release their mortgage.If been to Akron (very briefly) one May and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the town and seeing some of the places historically important to me (Mayfair Hotel, etc.).

I found some distressed properties and hunted down the owners from the local city government.

Regardless, I'll be on the hunt for a market with homes under $100k that has a growing number of technology jobs, as I plan on staying in this career at least until I can replace it with investment income.Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Agents do put rentals in MLS because it costs them (almost) nothing but unless it's a high end executive rental, you will generally find that a great chunk of renters hunt for houses themselves, and renters + MLS can't mix due to how MLS'es are setup to operate.
