Was set to close on our property and then was notified that would not be able to close due to the VA not paying the property taxes owed on the home.Hoping that this doesn't push out the closing day for an extended period of time as it just makes things more complex.

If it could be more like a small apartment complex or something of that nature but then still have the amenities of an extended stay. 

Our firm always recommend starting simply and then building out complexity if/when the asset protection and tax savings warrant it.Congrats on the new purchase!

The other two I bought more recently and they are smaller complexes and both are very well run.Before buying a condo, go over the condo documents and the minutes from the last set of meetings. 

I will be looking to have a good management company when I make my first apartment complex purchase.

There were three comp sales in the complex in the past 6 months so that $250k was apparent.The rehab cost $20k and the property appraised for $253k.
