If there is any real concern with the integrity of the house, have another inspection done by a qualified inspector...... if your report was a year ago, things change and the issue may be real or it may not.If there is no real issue, I would hold the PM company at least partially responsible for the cost of the inspection that was stimulated by their handyman overstepping his area.As for the PM getting the inspection report without prior authorization....big deal.....And if they asked, would you have said NO?

:Sounds like its time to change Property Management companies. 1-YES always request a BEFORE and AFTER photo or not authorization of payment. 2-Don't let them charge you extra for taking a freakin photo on a cell phone that costs nothing to do.3-Book a flight down there and make a surprise visit.
