What do you think of guys who buy a stick welder, watch a couple of YouTube videos and then try to repair a leaking gas line?

YouTube.9.Do you use Turnkey investment companies to do everything for you?

(Sales have given me some extra capital but rentals will allow me to quit w-2 and invest/sales full time and pursue my passion for music as well even if it is 10 years from now (mall piano player in the past).I am thinking about pulling a heloc out on my primary residence and using the money to buy another property.

Thoroughly enjoy listening to audio books, podcasts, YouTube as well as reading for any form of self-development.

But once I realized they aren't level I did some youtubing and I got some varying opinions. 

I've been doing a lot of research, YouTube videos, etc.… I would love some advice that will help me out to get my first deal, where to find contracts I'm going to need etc..

Everything that you asked above.And sometimes it makes more sense to build than to buy, so we also have a 3-Day Developer's Academy that focuses on ground up and conversions too.So part of this may be a shameless plug (of course hopefully within the guidelines of BP) but also to preempt and let you know that there is a wealth of information available - a lot here can be procured on BP, and reaching out to folks like Mike Wagner, or on the internet like Inside Self Storage Investors, both the national & your state Self Storage Association, and folks like myself too - you tube videos, podcast, etc.So you'll not be in lack of information, but be sure that you're best able to simplify it, categorize it, & then action upon it. 

I did watch some good videos on YouTube though after I posted this that gave me a better understanding.
