I hope you and others were just as vocal and concerned when BLM protesters chanted "pigs in a blanket" calling for the execution of police officers, while others set entire city blocks on fire and looted millions from innocent business owners.  2 of the 5 who died at the capitol were from natural causes (1 suspected stroke, 1 heart attack), one was in question as a potential drug overdose but unknown. 1 was shot by capital police (the lady you've seen in the video) and one capitol police officer was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher and died shortly after. 

I invite you to do the exercise on your Mission Beach property to determine the appreciation per month over your hold period.I suspect it is a very rare zero appreciation market non-commercial property that has produced $4k/month of cash flow (with 20 units maybe they can have $4k/month of cash flow).Good luck

The area just next to where the convention center site is less than optimal so I suspect an increase in value there.

I suspect San Diego currently has the most ones onerous eviction regulations in the entire country.When these policies expire, the additional risk associated with these regulations will be reflected in my rents.

Whether or not I will have my company service the loan has yet to be determined, but it sounds a bit more tedious than I suspected, (as I learned while reading this thread before posting this one).Basically, I doubt that it's really as simple as looking in a marketplace, buy a loan from a bank or direct lender, and then just start servicing the loan.

Short of suspected foul play I can see no reason anything would tie up your property post mortem, and even then it would be brief.  

I suspect there is a group of folks that would prefer a less touristy location that is less of a drive from the NYC area but offers much of the same amenities.
