Having disclosures and having a judge care about them when you intentionally screw someone over that says they didn't understand all the paperwork are very different things.If they do that on a regular basis I assume they will go down hard the first time someone does get pissed off enough to see what they can do.These are definitely the sh*t stains of our industry that give everyone else a bad name.

That entire industry is biased - all of them; brokers, advisers, money/fund managers, etc. - depending upon the asset classes they love and want you to buy because of the potential for making THEM money.

I have heard there are mortgage regulation bulletins that people in the industry obtain which at the very least prepares the bankers with the knowledge of upcoming changes.

There isn't any educational advantage in the industry that an agent will have over an appraiser as appraisers have the highest bar to certification, especially an MAI.
