New Investor To Start In CA

Hi Everyone,

My name is Josh Stroup.

I am very new to both BP and the real estate industry as well. Currently, I am a Construction underwriter for Zurich Insurance, on assignment in Dubai, UAE. In the next couple of months, upon my return home, I'd like to begin focusing on various pockets within the Southern California market.

During the Dubai summers, when the heat gets to be a bit too much to handle, I managed my cabin fever mostly by reading and studying all I could get my hands on. This is when I began to take a serious interest in real estate, both as an investment and possible career path.

Being so new, I would love the opportunity to network with anyone who would like to keep in touch, share ideas, or offer any advice they feel would be helpful. If you also happen to be an investor with interests in the SoCal markets, that would be great as well.

It's great to be part of the Bigger Pockets community. Hope to talk to you soon.

Josh
