My property manager was just served for a ridiculous negligence lawsuit by Havens Law Firm in Sacramento Ca.

As Brian mentioned, people who work in SF are flocking to tertiary cities outside of SF to live as the price of housing is ridiculous!

We tried to use some local companies, but we were turned away by quite a few or the quotes were ridiculously high.

Those housing prices are ridiculous.

I am positive I'll have to look at a ridiculous number of properties to find something that will work for me.

And don't get me started on OH market, that ham is so over-cooked it's ridiculous.

I have several bedrooms with ridiculous stains-- Likely kool-aid from the last dweller. 

There are quite a few multi-family properties that are very low priced that I would like to get started with, and the numbers look good to me on the surface (other than these ridiculous property taxes)... but can anyone add insight on expected vacancy percentages, expected annual rent increases, or issues with city inspections, etc?

I don't know what Chicago is like, but in California you can get taken advantage of with habitability lawsuits that are ridiculous.
