Also, remind her that many of your units don't have the luxury of ceiling fans and that if it makes them feel safer, you'd be happy to install a flush mount light fixture instead.If they do decide to act against you, it's out of your hands anyway but I think if you put it this way they'll think twice about crossing you.

Find an experienced short sale agent who understands all the ins and outs, not someone that just hands it off to a 3rd party, even though an experienced 3rd party negotiator is better than an agent who is inexperienced.

I am primarily interested in the hold & rent strategy, as I have a day job that I actually enjoy and would like a more hands-off approach to my investment... for now at least... if things work out with REI, I might consider doing that full time later.But anyways, I'm glad there is a forum on the web where a REI newbie like me can learn and connect.
