Hi BP community,

After many years of renting, I was finally able to purchase my own place in Rockville, MD about a year ago. After looking at many other investment options, I have decided that real estate is what I would like to put my money in for the long term. I am primarily interested in the hold & rent strategy, as I have a day job that I actually enjoy and would like a more hands-off approach to my investment... for now at least... if things work out with REI, I might consider doing that full time later.

But anyways, I'm glad there is a forum on the web where a REI newbie like me can learn and connect. I'm currently looking to buy property in northern Montgomery County or Frederick County in MD, but would be open to any opportunities to that can generate some stable income. Hope to talk to some of you soon!

Frank
