Real Estate Experience on Resume - Good Idea/Bad Idea?
10 January 2020 | 1 reply
Hey Michael, i own and run a marketing agency and for me personally, when i see real estate experience, i automatically give the person a boost in the application/interviewing phase. for me it's just an experience we share so i'd like to talk about it or know in the future we could. so i guess i'm saying unless there is a reason not to put it on your resume i would. i shows responsibility in other areas plus additional skills, and you just never know what might make you different or unique when applying to a position.

I don't have a lot of experience on the fix and flip side, so I know connecting with the real people for guidance and building a team on the ground will be critical for success.

That's the layers meaning.Where we are, a 4-plex is most likely a duplex with each floor split into two apartments; a 5-plex would be a triplex with a full ground floor and two apartments on each of the upper floors (what we have); and a 6-plex would be a triplex with two apartments on each of the three floors.

$20 Background and Credit Check Fee Question

Then it would be considered fraud. The only report I would need to pay for would be a back ground check to make sure there wasn't anything criminal in their history.Generally, I have found that if someone has a very high credit (720+ FICO), and in Brooklyn, NYC, you will certainly need high credit for any apt, you have a very clean background check.Given that and income has to be 4 times Annual Rent qualified from their Pay Stubs or W2 or both and verification from their employers, it's really difficult to get better quality of verification even from Companies that charge more than $20 for all of this information. Also, I don't blame Cuomo for these things.

The key is finding the middle ground where you sleep enough people that you’re not leaving money on the table, but that the guests will be comfortable and have enough room/privacy during their stay.
