Can someone explain to me about buying a HUD Home for a $1.00, I saw that at the site but I can not find any explaination for it except that if a home is listed on the site for a certain amount of time HUD will sell if for a $1.00, thats about all I can find, of course I am sure its a home that is either to small or is in need of some serious TLC, but can someone care to eloborate please?

If the rent on the other side is allowing you to get qualified for that duplex then I can see his point.BTW I tried using USAA to finance a home in 2001 and I literally had to explain 15 times (I counted) about my Reserves related income.
