Those are the firms you want to be a part of, rather than competing against as they likely have the most to teach you.

Parmer, you can take on the tasks you feel comfortable with,  youtube and DYI shows will teach you  some things, I use them quite often. 

I can't stress this enough, their management style needs to mesh with YOUR personality.

I can't seem to find an investor or flipper who wants to teach me.

They put up the cash, I teach them how to Airbnb and make money in that world (which they know very little about).

I know what I would do but you need enough education and reflection about where you are and where you want to go to be able to answer this question for yourself 😉 The best fishermen teach others how to fish for themselves. 

However my guess is he has grown so much that much of the teaching is done by others.

Think in terms of making half the profit by hiring out, but you can do two of them at the same time and make the same money.That said, I'd probably still see what you can do yourself on the first one and hire subcontractors for the work you can't do, rather than hire a general contractor for all. it will teach more about the process.
