In some countries this professional is called a watchman and is not very highly regarded or trained.

I wish you a productive and successful journey as you begin going down this new path in life.  

However, I would caution my clients and all would-be clients that while education is important, if you're spending $10's of thousands on it you need to reassess your path.

@Debra RineI don't know anything about the eviction laws in NY but I beat a path to a good RE lawyer ASAP!!

The house was in an older area of a city that has a high crime rate; however, the area held the value higher than other areas of the city due to the country club it was next, and many other factors.

I know you will do great because your already on the right path.

Maybe in other areas around the country this is the norm but you can certainly get better yields in Memphis!

I've driven all over the east side of the country to study different markets and how they relate to one another.
