FYI, I ordered the book Investing in Real Estate Private Equity, by Sean Cook to learn a bit more on the topic myself, without having to pester you and the other pros on BP too much.

The BP bookstore is a terrific start.Many of the titles are available on Audible.com if you’re like me and listen while cooking, in the car, in the shower, etc.

I would love to ask my CPA about all this, but since I do my own taxes, I have so far been unable to find a CPA who is willing to work with me at a reasonable price point just to answer occasional questions, so I don't know who to call with these sorts of questions.
