I do have my residential real estate license which I got directly after college and of course never used :)-It's's now expired....also I did buy my first house over 3 years ago when I was 25 years old. 2 years later I sold it for an 18k net profit (all I did was paint everything else was in great shape).

The boston area seems super saturated with condos going for crazy prices again...I have alot of friends that are the young business type 8-10 years out of college paying the rediculous rents to live in the city...Im hoping once those types start to settle down and have families they will move to the outter parts of boston and create a strong single family housing market...let me know your thoughts...Anyways, thanks for the informative post!

Keep in mind Decatur encompasses City of Decatur (30030) which is separate from unincorporated DeKalb 30030 + Decatur includes 30032, 30033 and 30034, all very different Decaturs with varying degrees of appreciation and definitely price points
