I think it's a matter of spending a little time in your target market and meeting with a variety of people there.  

I have a variety of units, one of which is a multifamily with 1 bedrooms.  

So, if your local area has a lot of jobs and a wide variety of industry, it can be healthy, in spite of a national down turn. 

A variety of comments in this thread show that isn't the case here.

There's a huge variety of condo types, from low rise to high rise and townhouse style.

Currently I am trying to educate myself as much as possible from a variety of sources. 

I hope to finish up our new portal, CRM implementation, and data streamlining for investors by the end of the year so we can kick off 2015 with a variety of new campaigns.  

There are a variety of strategies you can jump into, so depending on your long term goal we can seek out opportunities that way.
