@George Despotopoulos   one quick way to determine if the state is adhereing to dodd frank LIke Oregon does.is to simply google the local hardmoney lenders there in the state.. and see if they have state and NMLS licenses at the bottom of their web page.. if they do license is probably required if none of them do then the commercial purpose LLC loans are usually good to go... that's an easy way to look at it.. plus I would call the state and get it directly from them.. instead of trying to read the statutes I got in trouble myself in Oregon thinking I understood the statutes only to have the state slap my hand
