I'm also lucky that my mom's boyfriend was a pretty frugal person and when he died as a stock broker and she had worked for him as a secretary and learned very much about stock market investing for about 40 years and is still doing pretty well.

I don't think there's a legal requirement to register the apartment complex name but you should probably check with your Secretary of State or the local City.

If it's under and LLC you can always access the secretary of state website and find out who owns the LLC.

They were trying to pull the same stunt with me from October to December last year while attempting a transition.I showed up in person at their office a few times, but what really got results was me calling everyday at different times, leaving VMs, sending my own emails, having the secretary send internal emails to the PM, and generally being a nuisance.
