I will bet that if you asked that question of almost every new investor they would say the same thing regarding their location... and while I acknowledge there may be some exceptions (New York City comes to mind) there is an entire world of investing going on right under your nose and you probably don't even realize it.

That stuff is nasty,,careful you dont burn your nose or eyes.

Can she just tell the lender her husband is paying the mortgage or are they going to stick their nose into that business?

I strongly disagree with the thought you can't find properties right under the noses of other agents and buyers.

I know most people turn their nose to the area, but you would be amazed at how much NY, Cali and UK money comes to Detroit to gobble up properties because of the returns.

I believe that it will be the investor that pulls our collapsing housing market out of the nose dive that it is in.

I never saw anything at all in FDIC that was off center, they really are a bunch of straight laced, hard nosed, _sses and many do not like many bankers on a personal level, enough said there.
