He lived in Alameda CA which is a small island next to Oakland and pretty expensive these days.. he invited me to lunch so he could give me the keys to the gates so i could ride my quads on his ranch and fish in his lake..

Pick properties like that; example:  Great School Districts, geographical limitations (mountains, rivers, lakes), gated communities, etc. 

I am 73 and I just sold my last house in Tampa for Cash and moved to the peace and quiet of a gated Townhome in Valrico. 

I wanted to ask advice on apartments, I may be taking down a 21 unit gated community coming up.

Would be able to deduct $11k in improvements + 4% commission.Looking at possibly buying a 3200sf, 4/3.5, 4-car garage new construction home on 1 acre on a cul-de-sac in a gated community for $795k about 8 miles south in San Tan Valley, AZ.
