The Springfield Real Estate Investor's Association (I'm a member) is a great group of people (a mix of highly experienced and newly interested, but all above-board and ethical--the leadership doesn't tolerate shenanigans) and many in there are invested in Branson STRs (many also have STRs in Springfield, which of course caters to an entirely different market, but their perspective has been interesting).

And one thing for nurses you have to really cater to their unique needs [they take assignment in usually 13 weeks stints and most find short term housing on Airbnb and or Extended stay then look for longer term [lower cost] housing. 

I was in food business for decades before getting into commercial real estate the last 20 years so know it well.FIRST you have to separate out does your current business itself without the building have any value?

Need help with food?

If a guest spills food in the hot tub or fouls it, the cleaning crew will discover it during turnover and have to block it (no way to clear that kind of mess in a 4hr turnover).
