You pay more down in a commercial loan over the same period of time than you would a conventional because a commercial loan will be amortized over a shorter period of time.So if you had 100k conventional loan amortized over 30, you would have paid down less of the loan after 10 years than if you had a 100k commerical loan amortized over 20.
