What products/methods have people used to help "soak up" dampness and moisture in a basement?

Sometimes velvet, sometimes eggshell, always with high gloss trim and doors.What is the age of your typical buyers? 

This method has worked well for me, never have to worry about any legal issues with rejecting tenants and have never had a property sit empty for more than a week. 

He installed it in about 6 hours which included removing and replacing green-board and trim. 

This is not a get quick method, as our goal is long term.

Turn on the lights, repair the broken windows, change the landscaping (trim it aggressively), I sometimes prime the exterior.  

Anyone selling a property or the rights to purchase a property may sell to any buyer for cash or using financing, but getting financing will have some difficulties in the wholesaling method, and why most seek cash buyers.

Worst case I can't see renting it for less then $600 that would shock me.3 Bedroom 1 Bath..This one fell into my lap but what are the best methods for finding more like this?

When doing "finish caulking" (baseboard, crown molding, door trim, ect.) the last thing you want is to be wiping away loads of excess caulking.
