They just irrationally and reflexively recoil at the words rent control, like the word socialism.The biggest and most famous rent control city, Nyc, has the biggest, largest number of mega rich landlords. 

Castle Rock is on the southern end and has some great potential with a ton of development coming into the area recently (including year round skiing and one of the largest shopping centers in the US when the mall and outlets are combined).

Aside from that, and the largest issue is they are making us replace the entryway cement steps because the risers are .75" too tall.

The only lender I found to offer a Physician's mortgage on anything more than a single family was Huntington (no affiliation) and the largest they would cover is a duplex.
