I will probably transition to PM if it gets out of hand.

Consider using a 1031 for the transition.

I'm finishing up my first flip in Pittsburgh and am looking to transition into some BRRRR opportunities.

There is going to be a huge retail growth surrounding Traverse Mountain & Thanksgiving point, the ongoing construction of the new mountain view corridor and the future transit projects will dramatically improve the access to uptown and the new suburban retail core. 

I would like to hear suggestions from the BP community on the best way to make this transition, how to get in the door with a brokerage, personal testimonies, general advice, etc. 

The answers to these questions will guide you to invest in single family or multifamily, lower or upper middle class areas, stable or transitioning areas, and rentals or flips. 

I would love to eventually transition to a full-time real estate investor but that's more of my long term goal.In the short term, I've been reading and listening to the BP podcast as much as possible while building my cash position.  

I took a class in transportation design learning how the NY and NJ transit systems are designed and where it makes sense to expand the current system.  

I am currently in the Air Force, but am pursuing a career in Civil Engineering and intend to be transitioning to civilian employment in about a year's time in the North Central PA region.

It's easier to transition and jump off to something else if you want to even if you give up some on the back end.
