Hello BP community!

First off, thank you all for contributing and helping keep this dynamic resource alive! This community has really made REI appear more approachable and less intimidating. Since finding BP a few weeks ago I have spent every free moment sponging in the great info and wisdom within these pages, hammering through the Podcasts, and read the UGB and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" cover-to-cover (what an eye opener that was!).

Now to introducing myself...

I am Andrew Ross from North Central Pa (Lock Haven area, between State College and Williamsport). My personal background in real estate is zero, however it is not at all foreign to me: my father works in construction and his business holds a number of rental properties. I am currently in the Air Force, but am pursuing a career in Civil Engineering and intend to be transitioning to civilian employment in about a year's time in the North Central PA region. My RE goals are to eventually provide financial independence for my family by way of doing REI on the side. My research to date has me really jiving to the tune of the Small Multi-family, Buy & Hold, BRRRR ensemble to start off with.

Thanks for what will surely be a warm welcome, I look forward to developing a long term relationship with this great resource.
