Hello tax experts, I have specific question on filing taxes for Short term rental property (30 days or less).

It seems that you plan to use it as an investment, so will you do a Short Term, Mid-Term or Long Term rental?  

Since the last time I  used this platform I’ve successfully purchased my first home and converted into a house hack with short term and long term rentals. 

Purchase price: $125,000 Cash invested: $125,000 The Lakeview Creamery in Pepin, WI is an old Creamery that has been turned into 3 short term / mid term rentals, a boutique retail space, and a storage facility.

Would definitely avoid salt lake city as a short-term rental market.

I trade mostly options and have shorted stocks but it's not my strength.

If you're looking to pull all equity out it may not work, but could be an option to explore with a balloon payment and short term.
