@Amy KimRecommend you first figure out the property Class you want to invest in, THEN figure out the corresponding location to invest in.If you apply Class A assumptions to a Class B or C purchase, your expectations won’t be met and it may be a financial disaster.So, when investing in areas they don’t really know, investors should research the different property Class submarkets.

I’ve always been eager to get started but also too scared to just stick my neck out & make the wrong purchase.

After doing some reading and research I settled on partnering with a few turnkey providers and am very happy and excited to say that I have purchased 3 properties from 3 different providers (one is a duplex) and am embarking on what I feel is a bit of an experiment.  

What I thought I would finish it 6 months took 1 year and part of the reasoning for that was because I changed my general contractor a few times after I purchased the property

@Greg S: In Texas, they wrote a law specifically stating that the property owner must show proof that the Deductible amount is/has been paid.
