Hello BP,I have been researching/trolling BP for quite some time now waiting until I am at a point in my life where I feel comfortable to start investing in the Rhode Island area.

To start out I'm 21 years old, Live on Long Island and i want to get into the real estate game.

While MTL and the GTA have sufficient populations to potentially create a steady inventory for wholesaling, in a region like the Maritimes (NB, NS, PEI), you have population of 1.6 million (about the same as the Island of MTL).  

You're not going to find many single family homes at all, let alone any that would cash flow or that you can pick up for less than a few hundred K, unless you go way deep in the outer boroughs or Staten Island.

I should preface with the fact that insurance will be the single largest expense since this is on an island on the Gulf Coast.  

And I feel like an island until I found this site.
