With all the news about lead in public water supplies, is anyone else concerned it may soon become the landlord's problem to deal with?

While I'm not going to post net worth related things on the public internets, suffice it to say that I'm on the path to retiring in 10 years or less (depending on stock returns) if I invest in solely index funds and never get another raise.

You should be able to find a name and mailing address in public records with the Secretary of State or the county recorder.

But in Oregon ANY home that you own for the specific purpose to buy fix up and resell to the public.. a GC license is required or a Developers license. 

Public utilities or well and septic?  

Paul Santos, there is mention in the tenant guide of "public spaces" needing to be kept "sanitary," but I'm not sure what qualifies as a public space.

Key words pop up when business names are mentioned in public forums, and company reps are always on standby to respond.  

And more or less I'm just concerned with more problems and public scenes along with possibly any damage to my property.

Aaron mentioned RUBS (Ratio Utility Billing) but in Massachusetts there are specific laws regarding what and how you have to follow to be allowed to bill for utilities.I would pass it by the lawyer but you can reference Statute or law 410.354 and 105 CMR 410 Public Health. 

Are there laws against putting cameras in a public place besides bathrooms etc.?
