Need help banning someone from property

hi bigger pockets looking for help from someone who may have experienced similar experience because it's hard for others to relate or give advice without the knowledge. Here's the issue as its frustrating cause I can't get the proper answers I bought a 4 unit building have kept the tenants but now am finally cleaning house as can't deal with problematic tenants and non payment has become a huge issue now. So I filed eviction paperwork on a non payment tenant here's the issue her baby daddy who isn't on the lease and does live there has no belongings in unit or on property comes over either for the kids or personal favors won't get into it as he is also married with a family come to find out. So long story short if possible the issue is now the baby daddy has been aggressive towards me and calling me all sorts of names prior to this the neighbors have called the police on this couple due to domestic disputes and stabbing eachother which he hid from the police when they came only later to come back and has been doing ever since with other minor disputes and complaints which is breaking the lease. So today the issue arose cause the other day they were served eviction papers I was out shoveling and the baby daddy comes out cussing and yelling at me so I told him to get of my property he refused I called the police and the dispatcher heard him being aggressive as I answered questions. The police show up which happen to be females and ask me what happened I explained and wanted him off the propery for previous issues and this scene they refused and even told him that by law they can't do anything even though I was in the right. Since he is a vistor or guest to her he can come and go as he likes. So  later I called a higher up to ask more detailed questions which none of the police had answers to I explained that I use to do security for an apartment complex there we could ban individuals who broke leases as they had no legal right to be there other then as visors just as this situation. Breaking the lease could be domestic violence with the tenant ,disrespect to security or drug and alcohol issues so really anything we felt was inappropriate and the police would enforce it we could call them and say that an individual was tresspassing. The police would remove them or ask them to leave now I asked the officers if I could do the same because all these previous issues and I'm the owner he is on my private property and I was told they weren't sure. We'll so if they don't know their own laws or what can be enforced how can anything get done as if this continues a crime will be committed as he was aggressive and threatening but didn't specifically  threatened me cause I believe he knows what he can get away with. But I told the officers would you rather do something now or wait til violence is committed  they said all comes down to the tenant having to press charges if she was abused before which she won't but then complains for me to do something when she chooses to let him around.so I talked to the police supervisor and he didn't have an exact answer as far as if I could ban him from the property like complex do. He stated that they  have security and it's a multilevel building and is secure well truth be told mine is a 4 unit and has main door locks and cameras throughout so it's a secure building also and I have to worry about the safety of other tenants it's the same situation as the apartment building and they can do something where as I'm being told to deal with it. Any help or experiences? Thanks
