The newer more renovated houses will continue to rise but I feel at some point mine will appear as an old dated house that somebody looks at and will want as a cheaper place to fix up and renovate.Other than this, I don't really enjoy the out-of-state investor aspect of relying on a property manager when this was always a hands on investment for me until I moved away.

I think its somewhat irresponsible though to be touting this when folks take on such risks that we are seeing where they think they are going to make a bunch of money then they get their hands slapped.. which is my point about being correctly zoned and permitted .. do you think that is a bad thing ??

Which implies to me that this big federal level entity -- for whatever it's worth -- seems to think that buying, maintaining, and owning a rental property is A-OK.But, then again, sometimes the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.
