Both were grad students at ASU, one wanted to rent with three other grad students; the other was renting alone, with the lease co signed by her father, an MD who owned three emergency medical clinics in Michigan, and willing to pay in advance on a 9 month lease.

Seems like you would need to network with medical professionals and try to get referrals?

It is also building a huge medical research facility and will be hiring more medical than tech in the coming years which is saying a lot with Apple building its billion dollar 2nd campus here.

Want to move out of this area and considering either Tracy, Elk Grove or Folsom.Assuming Safety, Community and Medical facilities are the criteria which of the  3 cities are recommended.

I wish there was a way to check medical on co-signers, we had a nice seeming grandma co-sign, but she was terminally ill.

There are renters of all types here, but I would think young professionals, medical staff, and college students would be the most open to a RBTR setup. 

For example, a tenant discussed with me about getting accepted to medical school out of state.
