Is the corporation really necessary?

Obviously, a regional or national lender does the trick as well.

I'll do that tonight, when I'm no longer behind my corporate firewall.

So depending on where the creditor is in the nation, they have a high propensity to report to the more local bureau.  

I have been a police officer in AZ for over 20 years now and in the Army Reserve/National Guard for 26.

I have worked, quite successfully, for a national home builder as a production manager and with my contacts and sub contractor relations I believe I have the tools and knowledge to build/develop homes efficiently and lucratively.

Like everyone else, our goal is to generate enough passive income in the next 5-10 years for one or both of us to escape the corporate rate race.  

@Jennifer Allen when I left my corporate job, I pulled all my retirement funds out and bought real estate.
