Newbie From Durham/ Raleigh area in NC

Hey Everyone, 

I am Jason from Hillsborough, North Carolina, I am 26 years old and I work for an auction company as a photographer.  Im new at real estate investing and have not done my first real estate deal yet.  When i first started learning about real estate investing it was on wholesaling, did some marketing campaigns but never found my deal.  Now that I am selling my first home I will have some capital to buy some buy and hold investments and start building my investment portfolio.  I also found a partner that is willing to invest on some fix and flips with me, hoping to do some in between finding buy and holds. 

Im so glad I ran across Biggerpockets,  so far it has been a great information tool and I cant wait to get more involved with the site.  Looking forward to making connections and learning more about real estate investing with everyone.  Thanks!

Hey Jason welcome to BP! Do you work for Leland Little in Hillsborough? I feel like I saw you out there snapping photos of some artwork one day when I stopped to look at an old car they had in the parking lot. I used to live out in Mebane/Efland area but just bought a house in Durham a little over a month ago. I believe that area is gonna grow like a wildfire over the next decade due to the urban sprawl from all the people relocating to the Triangle area.

There is a wealth of knowledge to be had within the pages of this website and plenty of experienced investors who will gladly help answer any questions you may have. Check out a TREIA meeting if you haven't already for some good networking. I'll also share some of my favorite posts from this site:
