As the title says, what would be the NAICS code for a Real Estate Holding LLC?

I am in the market for a custodian for a self-directed IRA for real estate investing.

What are the tax implications for a Canadian investing in US real estate? 

I am starting out in my real estate investing journey and was hoping to see if fellow investors recommend pursuing short sales, banked owned properties and foreclosures, versus pursuing typical MLS properties or off market properties with distressed properties or sellers.  

I know this, because I DO this, I have been variable/commission based for over 4 years now and I have a good real estate friendly CPA. 

I am going to lend my own funds to a real estate investment company of which I own 50% of to purchase RE.

Once the get all your info they can turn a PoF on deals for you real quick which is nice.

The real question for you is, will the DST separate the ownership without making you sell it?
