Should I be investing at all into the stock market, or trying to hit my savings goal so that I can begin looking for rental properties?

I didn’t expect to hit it out of the park the first time, this was the first property that checked all the boxes for what I’m looking for, but the rehab was more than what I know I can take on at this time.

@Brenda Henry I've had clients in the same exact situation you are as an owner occupant inheriting tenants and here are some quick hits to consider and do once you take ownership:- right now with a month to month lease in place you have flexibility with the tenant.
