Tell me why this is a dumb idea, but let's not get lost in what-if's.Lastly, who are the professionals that I can talk to, to make sure that the work I'm doing will result in a property that is bank finance-able?

I like the idea of doing the brrrr strategy.  

My business partner and I intend to "hijack" the houses to acquire conventional lending, but due to the fact that the homes are on one parcel, the banks we spoke with will not lend to us.Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas around creative financing for this deal?

I kind of pitched the idea to him to see what he would think.

My point here is I have no idea how to run a screening process and what all I need to do before I accept tenants.

This makes me nervous.Any advice, ideas, thoughts, and/or options I'm not exploring?

Teaching is an awesome and unique experience so far, but my mind and my heart has always had the idea and drive to begin in real estate investing.

I do have a prior relationship with the manager there, but I have no idea if that had anything to do with it.
