Either way, I think that keeping separate records and being organized is going to help you next year with tax preparation.and yes try to find CPA's who align with your REI Goals

We can be more effective and efficient by being better organized. 

What's amazing to me is that more landlords aren't ready to organize against this unacceptable abuse of our rights, other than this post you made i've seen a few random mentions here and there in different posts, but almost no landlords are standing up for their rights. 

Since land can not be moved land owners, unlike business owners, free lancers, sports teams, etc, are an easy target for politicians to attack.

I've had a vision for what we could do to revitalize the area and put together a team to pitch the idea to the organization that owns the majority of it.

If you are an investor you probably want one of the lower cost or free software packages to keep everything organized.  

With a recession looming and sizing a lean organization..How are you'all handling the situation!
