I think some inspectors are overly cautious for their own sake or have a save the world philosophy where they would rather see everything replaced then accept anything borderline.

And we sprayed Zep and painted with and oil based primer to Water was running down the inside of the laundry room wall, so when we pulled off the old plaster to see the extent of the damage, the vertical column in the corner was powder.

@Chayson Descisciolo Yup it's because it's going to take at least that long or even longer for the old owners of all the junker houses near campus to die off and for their houses to end up in the hands of investors.
