.: I will be honest, I do not know to much about Handford California.

Well I was hoping that I would come back with some "NEW" information or strategy but to be honest there was nothing really new that I learned. 

I'm ashamed of this but have to be honest @Hattie Dizmond  and @Joel Owens .

It's important for me to hear alternative viewpoints. 

I think everything should be fine, I can only think of one out of the many inspectors I've dealt with from the city that I honestly had a problem with or that I thought was being unfair or irrational at all, and I know that person is now gone, this was maybe 8 or 9 years ago.Since you're coming in and already planning on spending money on these places, that's a world of difference from some who come in and just want to suck every possible last cent out and put nothing in, so that should be a big help too.

After being around this stuff for 40+ years, being involved in more aspects than I can mention, having suffered in the world of academia as well as the school of hard knocks, doesn't take me long to spot the fakes, the wannabe, the shyster, the inexperienced, the honest student, those with integrity and knowledge or the real professionals.

They mentioned that they could knock $700 off the origination fee if I went up to 5.125% - which seems like a bad deal for me over the long run.If the rest seems about right, I'm willing to eat a few hundred bucks on the origination fee.It felt as though they were trying to be honest with me when they mentioned that to make it work on their end, for such a small loan, they needed a little extra in the origination fee.

So that is why it is of concern.We didn't get and still don't get that the Agent is being honest in his representations.

Honestly focus on finding the deals.
