If you know you have a problem tenant or quite frankly a problem unit with habitability issues ("mold," bed bugs, etc), filing an eviction for non-payment of rent may be a terrible legal and financial decision.

This seems like a clear conflict of interest where an HOA president can use his role to his advantage and purchase another unit in the building without needing to ask anybody else for reserve details / bank statements/ etc, benefitting himself as an investor and harming other members of the HOA.Has anybody else ever come across this kind of situation?
