It is easy to sync your Homeaway calendar with Airbnb and vice versa.There is a function in your calendar to export your calendar.

I'd rip it out, unless the bedroom is massive (which it doesn't look like) and you could convert it to a full bathroom walled off from the bedroom, to get the property up to 2 1/2 bath without loosing a functional bedroom.

The goal here is to learn from experience and what better way to understand functional design than living it yourself.
